Chiropractic Assistant | Receptionist and Technical Natural Health Assistant
We are a progressive Chiropractic and Natural Health Practice in Geelong West, seeking a vibrant and compassionate individual to take on a unique role and join our already cohesive team. The role is practical, diverse, and dynamic, and will keep you inspired and engaged from day to day. You will be on your feet, part of our team, and learning and improving your own health as part of the journey.
The ideal candidate has a passion for holistic health, outstanding communication skills, exceptional multitasking ability, and a warm, welcoming personality.
Key Responsibilities
This role is vital to the day-to-day running of the practice and includes:
- Embodying and promoting our vitalistic approach to health and wellness.
- Creating a welcoming, mindful, and fun atmosphere for our community and clients.
- Managing all aspects of client administration, including scheduling appointment programs, handling accounts and payments, and responding to client communications across phone, email, and other channels.
- Assisting with client assessments, tests, and record-taking.
- Supporting the Chiropractors and protecting their energy during adjusting hours.
- Promoting the benefits of Chiropractic Care to clients and the wider community.
- Assisting with marketing and promotional events, both online and in person.
- Managing administrative tasks, data entry, and KPI reporting.
Skills and Experience
It is essential to have excellent skills in multitasking, time management, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail. We use a range of niche computer programs, which can be easily learned by a confident and capable candidate with a willingness to expand their skill set. These include Spinalogic, Zurili, Visage, Canva, Brevo, Google Sheets, and more. While experience with these programs is not required, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for technology and a willingness to master new skills. Administrative responsibilities are very important, but equally valued is the ability to interact with clients and provide exceptional hospitality, building rapport and ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Job Offer and Benefits
This is a casual position, available to two successful candidates, each with 15-32 hours per week. The position has immense potential for growth into a permanent part-time role.
Our shift times are as follows, which are shared; successful candidates will not be required to work every shift. Team meetings, training, and administrative tasks occur outside of shift hours Monday to Thursday. You will also assist at local markets and events we attend one to four times per month.
- Monday: 7:00-11:00am & 3:00-7:00pm
- Tuesday: 3:00-7:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:00-11:00am & 3:00-7:00pm
- Thursday: 7:00-11:00am & 3:00-7:00pm
We believe the work-life balance this position offers is exceptional. Our days are long, but our weeks are short, giving you plenty of downtime and frequent long weekends. Split shifts also allow you to run errands, go to the gym, or meet a friend for lunch during the week. Our practice is ideally located in Geelong West, near the busy Pakington Street shopping district.
